Assoc. Prof. Lei Pan

Prof. Lei Pan is an Associate Professor at Deakin University’s School of Information Technology and a key researcher at the Deakin Cyber Research and Innovation Centre. He is recognized as one of the top researchers in Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) worldwide, contributing to quantum-resilient cryptographic protocols, distributed computing security, and advanced cryptographic systems. He earned his Ph.D. from Deakin University, a Master of Science from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China. His research is deeply focused on cryptographic security frameworks, PQC algorithm optimization, and cybersecurity resilience in distributed systems. At VCyber Lab, he serves as a Scientific Advisor, collaborating on post-quantum security architectures, cryptographic resilience strategies, and AI-enhanced cybersecurity frameworks.
